Notes: In the MS the names of donor and beneficiary have been erased. A 15th-century endorsement refers to Ægelric, bishop of Dorchester, and St Peter's, Westminster, and it seems likely that the intention was to alter the operative details to create a direct grant to Westminster Abbey. For the Barking connection, cf. S 1246.
